Remoto still available for your aged smartphone
Years ago, I built and sold a Windows Mobile smartphone app for controlling iTunes over bluetooth - to coincide with the launch of the airport express remote speakers. It was kinda like the “Remote” app for iPhone just optimised for a tiny screen and dialpad controls.
I guess the world wasn’t ready for it, but I got a lot of use out of the thing.
Anyway, turns out it’s still for sale over at PocketGear.com. Not sure how I’d get any money out of it these days but if you’ve got £7(!) to spare and a smartphone from 2005 then why not buy the that app 2 out of 2 reviewers rated as 4 stars or higher!
